My work involves a significant policy dimension, focusing on various online harms and the ethical implications of emerging technologies. I have collaborated with stakeholders and organizations on both sides of the Atlantic to address critical challenges in the digital landscape and I have also participated in a range of workshops and conferences on democratic resilience, disinformation, organized crime and strategic foresight in law enforcement — both academic and professional. I am also proud to have — alongside my colleagues at The American Sunlight Project — authored a landmark report quantifying the impacts of deepfake sexual abuse on Members of Congress and engaged in critical advocacy work towards criminalizing nonconsensual deepfakes in the U.S. To inquire further about my work, for comments, features, or other questions, please get in touch.
