I strive to engage in research for social good and have collaborated with stakeholders and organizations on both sides of the Atlantic to address critical challenges in the digital landscape. I have also participated in a range of workshops and conferences on democratic resilience, disinformation, organized crime, and strategic foresight in law enforcement — both academic and professional. A particular highlight of my work is a landmark 2024 report I co-authored, quantifying the impacts of deepfake sexual abuse against Members of Congress, which led a broader advocacy effort towards criminalizing nonconsensual deepfakes in the U.S. A selection of my tangible research outputs can be seen below.
